WILL THIS BE ANOTHER YEAR LIKE 1968?

Here's a shot of the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, when Mayor Daley's cops launched a "police riot" (according to the Walker Commission report) while anti-war demonstrators shouted "The whole world is watching." Are we in for another year like 1968? Some people think so. The year was a crossroads of turbulent change culturally and politically; a watershed year for music and film against the backdrop of a divided nation, an unpopular war, and career politicians deaf to the shifting times. Are we at another crossroads, forty years on?
